2006

8 students have been chosen to perform as part of the 3wAyXchange, a unique collaboration between The Brewarrina Youth Circus, Zip-Zap Circus, South Africa, and The Flying Fruit Fly Circus. The Performance is being staged as part of The Commonwealth Games Cultural Arts Fetsival in Melbourne, March 2006. The chosen artists are, Anthony Murphy, Peta-Maree Gordon, Chavonne Gordon, Nikita Williams, Sam Gordon, Tiffany Winters, John Kirby and Barbie-lee Kirby.
A DVD of the performance will be available for sale soon, please keep posted for details, all sale proceeds will go to The Brewarrina Youth Circus

2-4 students will be performing with The Flying Fruit Fly Circus joining in the performance of Le Triste for the Regional NW NSW, performing schools and venues across the region. The chosen artists are Tiffany Winters and David Simpson.

The next Training Intensive to be held in Brewarrina will be during October and November 2006.

Congratulations to Brewarrina Central School for jumping on board to assist the kids and Community to organize on-going Circus Skills Training as part of the schools sports and lunch hour programs and hopefully for 2007, as part of the high schools, yrs 7-10 curriculum. We are proud to announce the purchase of equipment for Circus Skills by Brewarrina Central School. This will greatly assist the kids and Community in on-going Circus Skills Training solutions.
